What this is

Boot Room is a free daily pick-the-teamsheet game tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. You build an XI from the nations playing that day, submit before kickoff, and get a score. We're not affiliated with FIFA, EA Sports, Transfermarkt, or any of the players, clubs, or federations referenced in the game.

Your account

• You can play as a guest, or sign in with an email to claim a persistent account.
• Your display name shows on public leaderboards. Keep it civil — we filter obvious profanity at submit time and reserve the right to change or remove a name that slips through.
• One account per person. Don't share sign-in codes; treat them like passwords.

Fair play

• One submission per matchday. Once your teamsheet is in, it's locked.
• No automation. Don't script picks, scrape the API, or otherwise interact with the game as anything other than a human in a browser.
• No abuse. Spamming, harassment, or attempting to disrupt other players will get your account suspended without warning.

Scoring and data accuracy

Player values come from Transfermarkt-derived ratings, normalised into the scoring engine. Squads, kickoff times, and ratings are maintained manually and may contain mistakes. We'll fix things when we spot them, but submitted teamsheets keep the score they were given at submission — we won't retroactively re-score the leaderboard.

The boring legal bit

• Boot Room is provided as-is, with no warranty. We'll do our best to keep it up during matchdays but can't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or availability.
• To the extent the law allows it, we're not liable for any indirect loss arising from your use of the site — including, but not limited to, your bragging-rights ranking being suboptimal.
• We can suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms. If we're shutting Boot Room down entirely, we'll try to give you reasonable notice.
• These terms may change. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page with a fresh “Last updated” date.
• English law governs. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
